Job Description We are currently seeking a compassionate elder caregiver to serve with personal hygiene daily activities and domestic tasks as needed Meriden CT. You will provide compassionate care and assistance to help ensure their overall well-being.Duties and Responsibilities Help with personal hygiene (i.e. brushing teeth toileting shaving bathing) Change bed linens regularly Assist with all daily activities based on client s limitations and needs Act promptly and responsibly in cases of emergency Travel to client s home arriving on time Greet client in a warm professional manner Understand the limitations and needs of each individual client Provide basic domestic services (i.e. meal prep laundry light housework) Provide companionship and engage in conversation with the client Assist with mobility issues helping client get in and out of bed wheelchair etc. Remind client to take medications Requirements and Qualifications Minimum one year of experience working as caregiver or PCA Must have previous training as PCA Caregiver Ability to help move client and perform physical tasks when needed Commitment to treating client with dignity and respect Willingness to comply with all legal requirements Bilingual (Spanish English) required Resident of Meriden (Preferred but no required) Job Type Part-timeSchedule Monday to Friday (10 00 am to 12 00pm)Salary 12.00 hour
