Strip Joker is Chicago s body positive stand-up comedy show featuring a diverse line-up of comedians from around the country In the spirit of inclusivity vulnerability and uncensored comedy Strip Joker highlights the voices of queer and POC comedians and celebrates ALL bodies as the show s founding mission since 2016. With a new show each month you won t want to miss us every 2nd Saturday in our new home in Mary s Attic at 10pm This show will feature a whole new roster of our favorite Chicago comedians hosted by the newest Strip Joker producer Scott Duff With a killer line-up featuring Devin MiddletonAudrey JonasEstephany Guzmanand headlined by a Strip Joker favorite Allison Reese-Shapiro Changes in 2019 As we approach 3 years we realize Strip Joker has grown evolved and is looking to do more good for our community as we move to a new space and reach a wider audience. Now each Strip Joker show will partner with a local organization to raise awareness and funds We will speak about the org at our show and comedians will perform for tips from audience members during their acts to raise money for the local organizations we partner with. Violators of our show s rules will be removed without refund.Mary s Attic is located in the heart of Chicago s Andersonville neighborhood right above the cultural staple Hamburger Mary s at 5400 N Clark St. Show is 21 with a full bar food menu and kitchen open until 12am. Mary s Attic is ADA accessible please let us know with your RSVP in your ticket purchase if you need any accommodations and we will be sure to help Doors to Mary s Attic will open for Strip Joker at 9 30pm but you are welcome to enjoy food and drink at Hamburger Mary s before the show Close out your tab before heading upstairs we will have a separate bar and a limited food menu upstairs in the showroom. Mary s Attic is not entirely ADA accessible--they do have an elevator but we have come to find out it is often broken and has left us scrambling without much notice. We do not want to put any of our patrons in a position where they will purchase a ticket and not have the proper accessibility to the space so we would like to apologize for the inconvenience and say that we will only have notice if the elevator is working DAY OF SHOW. If you need the use of an elevator we will reserve tickets for you and only process the purchase when Mary s Attic confirm their elevator is working.
