This is a 1970 Manx style dune buggy with a custom body sitting on a FULL 1970 BEETLE PAN and is able to transport 5 passengers. Most buggies are built on cut pans and and will only carry 2 passengers. A Volkswagen Guru out of Asheboro NC. named Tommy Davidson built this car for my father between 2006-2007. The vehicle was delivered as a brand new build. Tommy Davidson is internationally known for building over the top Volkswagen Things he had just won the Bug Out in North Carolina with a green Thing when he asked him to build this dune buggy.
