s www.globalchannelmanagement.com jobopeningsjobs(at)globalchannelmanagment.com Contract MDM Business Analyst needs Experience in large complex data conversions in the financial services industry is a mustContract MDM Business Analyst requires Prior MDM experience is highly desired Knowledge of conceptual logical and physical data models Knowledge of data profiling techniques Familiarity with multiple database platforms such as Oracle SQL Server Understanding of the different data storage access models (transactional data staging operational data store data warehouse data mart data federation) Must have an ability to perform data analysis and create actionable conclusions SQL proficiency Excel proficiency Experience in a scripting language preferred Background in Financial Services or Insurance industry Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills accountability and project management skills Contract MDM Business Analyst duties Responsible for creating data dictionaries and data mapping for data conversion from legacy systems to a newly implemented MDM application This position will involve reviewing and clarifying requirements. This involves working closely across business and IT teams This position requires active participation in the modeling techniques for conceptual logical and physical data models Person will work with data modeling and repository toolsets (including ERwin and other metadata management toolsets) to create data mappings and data disctionaries. Must be technologically proficient and have an ability and desire to rapidly build up knowledge on new tools
