Job Description Develops information technology project plans conducts assessments with end users to determine user needs and system requirements sets and meets interim project goals and performs change control and all other associated project management efforts needed to ensure that project schedule and budget are met Manages projects during design and implementation phases attends regular project progress meetings works with vendors to resolve problems and to initiate the appropriate solutions prepares reviews and processes change orders monitors adherence to project schedules conducts and reviews testing provides technical support during programming and implementation verifies compliance of projects to County policy and makes recommendations concerning improvements modifications design strategies programming systems infrastructure or other aspects of project development. Manages administrative aspects of assigned project updates project schedules and monitors progress of project reviews project creates and maintains standard operating procedures and other documentation regarding maintaining system operations and evaluates and monitors progress against performance and quality measurements. Design develop test deploy and maintain business processes used with the ERP solution Maintains an awareness of new applications technologies technical methods trends and advances in the profession reviews professional publications technical manuals and websites to increase knowledge of network operations and attends conferences workshops and training sessions as appropriate. Manage daily IT department tasks (Hardware software installation and maintenance) Ensure business continuity (backup policies .etc). Responsible for creating and administering disaster plans that will keep the company functional in the event of a crisis Train of employees for IT related subjects (software like ERP modules hardware ..etc) Develop innovative network troubleshooting methods that reduce downtime and lower repair costs Monitor network and servers resources and usage Work with programmers to test debug and properly roll-out new programs processes or enhancements Work closely with departmental managers to determine the maintenance and growth needs of the network and branches. Provide support for users reporting issues or bugs or having questions about how to properly use the systems. Running regular checks on network and data security Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization Designing training programs and workshops for staff Conducting regular system audits Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget Providing direction for IT team members Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement Identifies problems Monitor changing network technology and deliver a technology update to the executive team each quarter Evaluates trends Evaluating the functionality of systems Scheduling upgrades Design & Implement IT standards like ITIL COBIT 5 and Microsoft Operations Framework Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. Prepare specification for RFQs Managing secure network access for remote users Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications BA BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience (Bachelor s is Preferred) Minimum of 3 years experience PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent experience preferred IT Project Management experience Skills ERP modules and business processes knowledge and previous implementation Hands on functional knowledge of at least one ERP solution (knowledge of mid-market ERP landscape a plus) Must have been an active team member or PM Technical management project management strategy development organization communications and customer service are required.
