Sweet Aussie Shepherd needs a new home

We need to rehome our sweet dog Skips. He is an AWESOME dog - beautiful very smart loyal and submissive and sweet to humans. Housebroken up to date on shots as of this week. The only reason we are needing to rehome is because of the dynamic between him and our labrador retriever Rigby. Skips should go to a home where he is the only dog. He is not aggressive to other dogs in passing (on walks for example) - but he has established himself as the Alpha in the house and our poor big baby Rigby (who we had first before we rescued Skips) has anxiety because of it.Though we do not have papers (we rescued him when he was about 3 months old - he is now about 3 years old) he strongly favors an Australian Shepherd and our veterinarian agrees. He is very high energy he is fine in the house but he should go to a home with a fenced in yard so he can run around - or to a home where someone will walk him at least several times a day. He is spoiled with me because I work from home and walk him a lot.He s smart as a whip and funny - I bet someone with the time patience could train him to do some amazing tricks.He s about 60 pounds - and even though he has long beautiful fur he barely sheds at all. We do have to brush him a few times a month in the summer but I seem to only fine our lab s hair around the house here. He also doesn t smell doggy like our lab - smells clean all the time This is truly a great dog - I would never rehome him if not for the issues with our lab. He will make a tremendous best friend for his new humans He loves riding in the car so I d be happy to bring him to meet you
