The first concert of Sunset Youth Orchestrawas in December 1999. And now Sunset Youth Orchestra will be 20 years old in December 2019.Orchestra performed at schools Russian center seniors places Ardenwoods Siqvoya St. John s Church De Young museum Sunset community Youth festivals Yerba Buena Gardens San Francisco Youth festivals.SYO is a community nonprofit organization. We have children from traveling to our Friday nights rehearsals From Palo Alto Pacifica Millbrae Walnut Creek Daly City San Bruno and more. Orchestra trained hundreds of young musicians ages 8-18 years.Students dramatically improved there musical and technical skills as orchestra provides unique musical arrangements professional teachers and fun music.We except students of any level of musical experience.Out goal is to make any child of any level of musical experience join our orchestra love the music they play play with others and our services for musicians will help this art to became parts of their life.For last 5 years students learned about 120 musical arrangements 20-22 songs a year.Students participated in many performances in SF 2014 Disney Land 2016 Carnegie Hall New York 2018 Disney Land and Disney concert Hall in LAin June 2020 Orchestra selected to perform in June in Italy in Milan Venice and Cremona.
