Product Facades Engineer - Cladding Engineering Analysis AutoCAD Revit - Columbus OH - JOB 19-00618Salary Range 65K - 85K Permanent Position with Benefits. The Product Facades Engineer assists organization s internal and external customers regarding all technical inquiries involving Facades product properties product application and performance. The facade system is comprised of a metal-faced foam insulated sandwich panel with integral light gauge steel support rails onto which various other exterior cladding materials are field applied to form a finished wall assembly.REQUIREMENTSBSCE or BSME or equivalent An active Professional Engineer License is desired but not required but they must plan on obtaining it in the future. Seeking candidates that plan to obtain their P.E. license. 3 - 6 years experience working with insulated panels for facades or other closely related work. Familiarity with architectural building faade engineering and application. Familiarity with Architectural and Structural drawings and specifications. Familiarity with building codes and standards. Must have experience running structural calculations. Ability to understand and communicate building science principles. MS Office Word Excel Outlook Proficient with AutoCAD & Revit is required. Proficient with using structural calculation software such as RISA STAAD STAAD Pro CFS or other. DUTIESCommunicate directly with Architects Specifiers General Contractors Installation Contractors and Project Owners regarding implementation of the Facades product line. Communicate with Sales Marketing and Operations departments regarding technical product and application information. Perform engineering analysis of building facade including structural (wind load seismic anchoring deflections etc.) environmental (thermal moisture etc.) and other application requirements. Develop modify installation details for non-standard conditions. Assist with preparation of project submittals. Support R& D with product development testing and certification requirements. Review Project Specifications and update& maintain company s facade standard product specifications as necessary. Assist with preparation of technical articles for industry publications. Work with vendors as necessary to develop strategic partnerships and accessory packages. Relocation Services are available for this position.
