The 76 is easily the best and most collectible out of the 7th generation Cadillac Eldorados.The Eldorado underwent major modifications the previous year so the 76 received just minor styling changes. It was given rectangular headlamps a new grill revised tail lamp lenses full rear wheel openings and overall crisper lines. It resulted in a smoother and more aerodynamic appearance reminiscent of the 67 and 70 models two milestones in Cadillac styling. It was widely advertised as the last American convertible when the 76 was announced as the final year for Cadillac s convertible line.By popular demand Cadillac reintroduced the Eldorado convertible for the 1984 model year but it was a completely different car.
