Job DescriptionPrepare and cook our menus including rice noodles soups hotpot marinated meat menus and other foods. Prepare ingredients for cooking including washing portioning chopping and slicing. Ensure quality of food and determine the size of food proportions. Keeps records and accounts of food purchases. Maintain inventory and records of food. Order ingredients and spices as needed Seasons food according to recipes or company needs. Ensure appropriate levels of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained in the kitchen. Assist and work with other cooks to train kitchen staff. Communicates with the owner about how to improve meal service and offers a creative menu to compete with other local restaurants. Job RequirementMinimum one year of commercial cooking experience Food Safe Level 1 certificate required Completion of secondary school Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
