THE FLORA BELGIAN TAPESTRY

The Flora Belgian tapestry was created in 1885 by the wonderful combination of William Morris who was responsible for the background and Edward Burne-Jones who designed the figure. It was woven by Morris & Co at their Merton Abbey workshops and the original is now in the Whitworth Art Gallery in Manchester. Here we present detail of it without the verse and border. The tapestry is also available at The Tapestry House in its original design.Dimension B - H 26 x W 17 Inch Weight 3.00 lb FEATURESProduct - TypeTapestryOrigin - Woven in BelgiumColor - GreenComposition - 70% Cotton 30% Viscose and Polyester BlendFinish - Backed with lining and tunnel for easy hangingShape - RectangleLocation - Drawing Room Living RoomArtist - NOBuy now s www.saveontapestries.com collections animals-and-wildlife products the-flora-belgian-tapestry
