OBJECTIVE Assist warehouse management in all areas of the warehouse.In addition to the essential job functions described below all associates will perform duties as requested by branch management. Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location size and operations.Picking ShippingPull orders for shipmentPlace the material in the staging area return the ticket to the supervisorSeparate material to shipping pointsLoad outgoing shipment onto trucksReceivingReceive all incoming materialsUnload incoming shipments from trucksVerify and complete the delivery receipt. Note damaged or shortage on delivery receipt and have driver initialComplete all receiving paperworkStock and stage received materialsOtherKeep the receiving and shipping areas organizedOrganize pallets and other support materials in a safe mannerCommunicate warehouse concerns to supervisorCorrect any system file maintenance issues as they occurAssist the driver with deliveries as needed (if driving a Commercial Driver s License must be obtained)Compliance with company uniform policyRepresent the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring customer loyaltyAbide by all policies rules and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules regulations and proceduresSupport corporate programs goals and initiatives of the companyWork overtime as neededPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Lifting 20 pound objects constantly 50 pound objects frequently and 100 pound objects occasionally is requiredClimbing ladders stairs and rampsBalancingPushing and pullingStooping crouching and kneelingAttendance Requirements Attendance on a regular consistent basis is mandatory including arriving at the time as scheduledAccommodations Essential functions of this position may include but are not limited to lifting reaching bending stooping twisting kneeling crouching carrying objects ascending descending stairs and commuting to work location.
