They have elastic ear straps and are pinchable around the nose for better fit. These face masks are designed for protection against airborne particles to include splatters of blood saliva dust and pollen. Their BFE (bacterial filtration efficiency) is & gt 99% and they are constructed as follows 1st ply is treated to be waterproof effective against fog mist and fluid. 2nd ply is treated with meltblown (BFE over 99%) to be effective against airborne particles and allergens. 3rd ply is left untreated for smooth comfortable contact with the face.
