ISO/Wanted Golden retriever

We just recently lost our beloved German Shepherd to kidney failure and are looking to give our love to another sweet soul. Very responsible pet owners and provide well with comfort and lots of love. I am home full time and have experience training dogs. We are looking for a sweet Golden Retriever willing to help heal our hearts. I have a 14 year old step-son who wants a Golden buddy pretty bad. Considering puppies to young/ middle age and not looking to spend thousands of dollars unnecessarily when we could love a free dog just the same as one that costs 2 million. All my past loves have been rescues. My first shepherd was with me for 14 years and my last one was only a year and a half and we just lost him to kidney failure.
