12 size Vintage German Violin

Beautiful German-made Violin labeled Toncla-the Dancla made expressly for William Lewis and Sons. (Possibly made around 1950). It comes with a like-new carbon fiber bow the hair is in perfect condition and is in no need of repair in any way. Sounds beautiful on the violin which gives warm tones on the lower two strings (similar to a viola) and very rich sounds on the higher strings almost flute-like. The quality of this violin will make a beginner sound quite good and will also meet the demands of an intermediate player who is practicing harmonics shifting vibrato and tremolo. The violin is completely set up and ready to play it has a brand new bridge and strings. The pegs are in perfect condition and the strings are in tune and ready to play This violin comes with a brand new locking case (key included) a brand new high-quality rosin block cleaning cloth violin cover and shoulder rest There are no cracks or separated seams in the violin and no scratches either. It has been used but looks brand new with a shiny varnish. The case has tons of storage compartments yet is very lightweight 1 2 size violins usually fit children ages 8-13 depending upon arm s length. It may work well for a large 7-year-old or a small 15-year-old. It also depends upon the playing ability of the student as to what size they may need. It is usually best to start on something a little too small than something way too big meaning this will not fit the average 7-year-old. Please contact me with any questions.
