Job DescriptionPeopleReady Hattiesburg MS is currently hiring associates to work at a local poultry product processing facility. These positions are all inclusive you maybe asked to work the Cook room the Kill room Raw handling Quality Control Maintenance or Sanitation.The General Labourer works in the Packaging department. He she works in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment responsible for packaging clean-up and other food processing activities. This person has direct impact on the efficiency of operations and contributes daily to quality of our products.ResponsibilitiesWorks on the production line to process chicken products Checks and weighs materials and or product Transfer seal manually labels and pack product into bags cartons or other containers Removes finished goods packages from conveyer and place on pallets Checks products and packaging for basic quality defects Removes quality defects from product Moves and lifts skids tanks and combos Takes action to correct any issues and to make improvements troubleshoots equipment if necessary Maintains productivity that meets exceeds standards Other responsibilities as required Qualifications & ExperienceAble to work in a fast-paced work environment with repetitive tasks Able to stand and walk throughout the shift Able to perform repetitive lifting Able to lift up to 25kgs Can work well in a team environment and support fellow team member Good communication skills able to speak and read English Punctual reliable and responsible Own transportation required Our national teams provide expertise in flexible industry-specific solutions for construction hospitality manufacturing and logistics marine transportation warehousing and distribution waste and recycling and many other industries.
