Do you want to pick up a new healthy hobby while you have some time off work For parents do you want to send your kids to the beach for some exercise and fun in the ocean while you get some time to work I m a 26 year old former Army officer with a bachelor s degree in Economics. I ve been surfing for 15 years and I have a passion for passing on the joy that surfing has brought into my life. Surfing has inspired me to travel to places all over the globe including Central America Indonesia Australia etc. I am CPR and combat life saver certified. How it works You show up to El Porto in Manhattan Beach with a wetsuit. I provide the surfboard. Open to ages 7 and up. Must be a proficient swimmer. Groups of friends are more than welcome. We will cover basic ocean safety how to read the ocean basic technique fundamentals and surfing etiquette. At the end of each session feel free to join me for a quick beach clean up. Rates 75 for 1 Hour 99 for 2 hours Buddy discount 70 each for 2hrs if you bring a friend(For those committed to multiple sessions per week price can be negotiated)Current Military Veterans FREE first lesson. If you have a buddy who is struggling bring him too. Hours are flexible. I m willing to work with your schedule.
