No issues clean as a whistle inside and out ready to install. Manufactured by the Locke Stove Company in Kanas City Mo. in the good year of 1942 it is built for fire and built to last Model 120 she stands an impressive 43 high and has a belly of nearly 20 in diameter Long logs can be positioned inside the fire box vertically where they efficiently burn like cigars while combustion is controlled by the twin dampers shown. An ingenious ash removal system is below where ashes are shaken and left in a removable ash bin. Just about as slick as hot-snot on a door knob no muss no fuss. This rare gem is a practical efficient and an extremely well-built classic that is NO slough for producing heat...and lots of it This is clearly an heirloom that is as rare as a hen s tooth. American made in 1942 just before I was born so this is certainly no Asian junk Properly sanded chemically prepped and given several light coats of HI-TEMP Professional stove finish. Mind you because this woodstove was designed and built to burn coal it will last generations as a wood stove.
