The PeopleReady Branch 2913 located at 132 s 32nd st Springfield Oregon 97478 is currently hiring a Maintenance Millwright. Job DescriptionShift is 7 00 am to 3 30 PM Monday thru Friday. Pay is dependant on experience from 28 to 33 an hr. Responsibilities - Prepare execute and participate in maintenance department to service all machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and avoid unexpected breakdowns. -Execute work orders for the preventive maintenance schedule in timely fashion. -Support and assist with outside contractors to perform maintenance on equipment such as a crane or manlift. -Recognize equipment issues and initiate work requests. -Respond on-call via radio or after hours telephone to meet the needs manufacturing and production downtime activities. -Participate in meetings such as PHA MOC RCA and JHSC as required. -Participate in behavioral safety for a zero incident zero exposure work culture Qualifications -Post-secondary edjucation as a licensed industrial tradesperson in mechanical welding or electrical discipline. -3 years working as a licensed tradesperson in an industrial plant setting. -Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose and fix mechanical problems. -Ability to execute preventative maintenance activities and allocate personal time and resources effectively to minimize downtime and overtime. -Ability to work either individually or in a team environment. -Knowledgable of forklift scissor lift and boom lifts. Certifications a plus. -Thorough knowledge of mechanical equipment repairsuch as pumps valves agitators.gearboxes heat exchangers motors and instrumentation. -Knowledge of systems such as cooling towers boiler systems air compressors bag-houses and conveyors. -Able to work from blue prints weld cut andexposure to pipe fitting and fabrication materials. -Understanding of Lock-out Tag-out and try-out procedures. -Desired certification in HVAC Backflow maintenance AWS G6 CS SS Arc TIG and Mig -Ability to navigate stairs and ladders and lift up to 50 ibs.
