The Junior Rockers Music Center (JRMC) was founded to establish a music boot camp to teach and train students of all ages with special emphasis on children and teens. We plan to ultimately set up bands and solo acts that can perform professionally in all types of venues. Our teaching is grounded on performance-based conventions interspersed with a formal pedagogy so that students can experience music from a wide spectrum. Each of our Private Music Instructors will ensure that students achieve their fullest creative potential in a safe and secure environment which can be both enjoyable and inspiring.The JRMC s preferred musical styles are pop-rock classic rock praise and worship blues hip-hop and EDM. We will also teach the precepts of the marching band as well as classical orchestral music.Our current curriculums include instructions in acoustic electric and bass guitar traditional and digital keyboards multiple percussion instruments violin cello clarinet and various woodwind instruments the saxophone trumpet trombone tuba French horn the harp the ukulele harmonica marimba conducting audio production deejaying sound engineering dance music theater vocals and songwriting.Classes are organized according to age range. Prices are 45 per hour per instrument or category for studio group classes and 65 per hour per instrument for home visits. We are hosting our students through Zoom during the pandemic.
