The PeopleReady Branch 1118 located at 7755 NE 3rd Street Bend OR 97701 is currently hiring a Journeyman Framing CarpenterResponsibilities include Job DescriptionWe are looking for highly skilled Journeyman Framing Carpenter.ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions 1. Reads blueprints and other specifications to determine method of installation work procedures and material tool and work aid requirements.2. Installs horizontal and vertical metal studs for attachment of wallboard on interior walls.3. Lays out reference lines and points for use in computing location and position of metal framing and furring channels and marks position for erecting metalwork using chalk-line.4. Measures marks and cuts metal runners studs and furring channels to the specified size using tape measure speed square and hand and portable power cutting tools.5. Secures metal framing to walls and furring channels to ceilings using hand and portable power tools.6. Apply plasterboard or other wallboards to ceilings or interior walls of buildings. Apply or mount acoustical tiles or blocks strips or sheets of shock-absorbing materials to ceilings and walls of buildings to reduce or reflect sound.
