As a Sales Clerk your responsibilities would include working closely with customers to determine their needs answering their questions about our products and recommending the right solutions. You will also promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction. Another aspect of this position might be assisting with inventory and stocking. Ultimately the duties of a Sales Clerk are to achieve excellent customer service while consistently meeting the store s sales goals. Use telephones to reach out to customers and verify account information. Greet customers warmly and ascertain problem or reason for calling. Suggest information about other products and services Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer s complaint determining the cause of the problem selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem expediting correction or adjustment following up to ensure resolution Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Assist with placement of orders refunds or exchanges.
