This Stainless Steel over the range Samsung Microwave stopped working. Powers up and it seems a minor issue. When trying to warm food it looks it s working and microwave operates with a humming noise but does not heat. It looks very much a classic issue of a failed Diode. Diode is about 25 when replaced I EXPECT ( though no guarantee) the microwave to be fully operational... Otherwise everything else on the Microwave looks new.This is ONLY for someone very comfortable replacing the diode. Someone like an electrician or someone who had done this many times. Please NOTE Capacitor can hold a voltage of about 3000 and if mishandled can give a lethal shock. This is the reason I didn t want to repair it myself. If you are qualified to repair it you can have this for 99.
