The PeopleReady Branch 1123 located at 699 High St. N.E Salem OR 97301 is currently hiring a Contents & Cleaning Technician Responsibilities include Job DescriptionThe Contents and Cleaning will report to the Director of Emergency Services and work in part under the supervision of the Emergency Services Coordinator and Lead Technician. Our contents and cleaning technicians assist in moving cleaning and inventorying homeowners contents after an insurance loss. Responsibilities - Packing boxes - Inventory contents and determine if non-salvageable or able to be cleaned - Document contents - Photo documentation and spreadsheet entry - Moving contents furniture to and from storage containers moving trucks etc. - Cleaning contents to restore to pre-loss condition - Reviewing non-salvageable items with the homeowner before disposing - Must take care when handling contents as to not cause any damage to contents or our customer s home. - May assist with final construction cleaning or fire smoke cleaning - Cross-training opportunities into other divisions such as water mitigation repairs board-ups tarp-ups etc.. Qualifications & Experience - Contents moving and cleaning experience preferred but not required - Must be able to lift 50 lbs to assist in moving boxes and heavy furniture - Ability to use a smart phone for navigation documentation and team communication - Timely and reliable - Must be flexible on days and hours worked - Must be able to work full time with overtime as needed. - Must possess a valid driver s license with a good driving record.
