A design and build company for bulk material handling equipment located in Canton Ohio is seeking to hire a Sales Representative. Individuals must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and or ability required. REQUIREMENTSBachelor s degree in Business Marketing Communications or related field. 8 years or more of sales experience. Prospect and qualify new sales leads Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects Basic AutoCAD skills for mocking up sales drawings for customer MS Office be proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail record keeping routine database activity word processing spreadsheet graphics etc. This role requires an above-average knowledge of Microsoft Office. Engineering background in structural steel preferred Must have a background working with bulk material handling conveyor systems Track all sales activities in company CRM system (Goldmine)and keep current by updating account information regularly Provide detailed quotes to customer utilizing our internal quoting system Keep Quote Log clean and updated with new information Communicate customer and prospect product pain points to appropriate departments Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects Advise customers on product usage and ways to improve production Assist with internal pricing structure Develop strong ongoing relationships with prospects and customers Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales efforts Ability to work with our outside sales consultants. These consultants will bring business to us and this individual needs to be able to work alongside them to maximize our business development efforts. Verify delivery schedules to meet project deadlines Obtain quotes for parts and services Performs all other duties as assigned Valid driver s license is required Must be able to travel. Overnight stay may be necessary but usually. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen. Local candidates only please.
