The PeopleReady located at St. Charles MO 63376 is currently hiring a Machine Operator. Job Description Consistently produces at an acceptable level of productivity with some supervision. (90%) Sets up and runs all machines that are needed per category (excluding laser and turret) directly from production schedule. Efficiently sets up all equipment in the assigned cell in order to operate at top productivity levels in a safe manner. Keeps tooling in top operating condition. (I.e. sharpens in house when feasible or notifies engineering when tool needs sharpening. Troubleshoots machine problems. (I.e. machines tools etc.). Produces high quality parts with minimal rejects. Performs all aspects of job with very little supervision. Programs new products on CNC equipment by using prints and machine tooling knowledge. Corrects machine and tooling setup for press brakes drilling centers and benders. Performs normal maintenance activities such as die sharpening shimming and mounting. Makes recommendations for tooling replacement repair and purchase. Mentors and coaches other Machine Operators to help them improve this skills and abilities. Sets up other Machine Operators as needed. Fills in or assists in leading production team when needed. Responsibilities Include Previous machine operating experience preferred such as experience with tube benders press brakes and steel saws. Ability to read tape measure calipers and micrometer. Understanding of metric and decimal measurements. Knowledge of computers to utilize IQMS as required. Skills with reading blueprints.
