Our Productivity and Quality Insights Team delivers top level insights for thousands of software developers across the globe. We re looking to add an additional Data Scientist to our team. We re looking for someone who has a passion for harnessing data and turning it into real insightful information that others didn t think was possible. Someone who understands the power of data. Please note This is a remote position to start but will eventually be in-person in Ottawa Ontario Canada. Must have 3 years of Software Development or applicable IT experience strong computer science fundamentals such as algorithms data structures exceptional object-oriented development skills and scripting skills with Python skilled with big data processing tools such as Spark Cassandra or others such as MongoDB Hadoop familiarity with Jupiter Pyspark and other data science tools solid database skills with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL and Cassandra comfort manipulating and analyzing complex high-volume high dimensionality data from varying sources and practiced in working in a distributed Linux environment.
