I HAVE TWO R T 60 RADIOS IN VERY GOOD WORKING CONDITION . THEY WORK ON 282.8 MHz OR 243. MHz THEY TRANSMIT BOTH VOICE AND TONE. THEY ALSO HAVE TONE THROUGH THE SPEAKER. THEY WILL RUN FOR A LONG TIME ON 2 -9VOLT BATTERIES IN SERIES . OR THEIR IS ROOM FOR 6. 9 VOLTS WITH 3 SETS OF 2 IN PARALLEL. PULL ANTENNA UP TO TURN ON . SIDE TRANSMIT SWITCH WITH LOC . FREQ SLIDE SWITCH ON BOTTOM.THEY CAN OF CORSE TALK TO EACH OTHER AND WILL SEND A TONE TO BASIC CAR FM RADIOS.BOTH RADIOS LOOK REALLY GOOD . MANY I SEE FOR SALE HAVE LOTS OF SCRATCHS AND WEAR SPOTS. THESE ARE BOTH VERY CLEAN. THESE ARE THE BEST OF 6 I GOT.
