Estimator (Residential) - Time Material Labor Timberline - Canton OH - JOB 20-00492 Pay Range 18.00 - 21.50 HR Permanent Position with Benefits. Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply. A rapidly growing residential developer is seeking to hire an Estimator to use their knowledge and expertise from working in the homebuilding industry along with construction plans to estimate necessary expenditures and create a budget. Minimum estimate production numbers must be met. REQUIREMENTS2 - 4 years of experience in custom homebuilding estimating. Must have strong math and science skills be skilled in analytical and critical thinking be detail oriented self-motivated and proficient with data entry. Must be able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent follow up skills. Must be skilled in reading and comprehending blueprints. Must have working knowledge of plumbing electrical and HVAC systems. Proficient with using estimating software Timberline SoftPlan or other. RESPONSIBILITIESPrepares accurate estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements. Prepares work to be estimated by gathering contract blueprints specifications and related documents. Identifies and computes labor material and time requirements by analyzing contract blueprints specifications and related documents. Submits prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information. Processes change orders as required. Researches and follows up with variance purchase orders as needed. Works closely with assigned offices and participates in weekly calls with assigned offices. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
