SUMMARY Management Business Solutions is seeking a construction estimator for its client in Detroit MI. This candidate will have previous experience in either a pre-construction or an estimating role within a commercial environment. These individuals will be responsible for preparing estimates for competitive bids and negotiated proposals. RESPONSIBILITIES Experience with estimating process on projects valued at 100M and up. Experience with the bidding process soliciting bid invites communicating with the bidders evaluating subcontractor proposals using bid tally sheets etc. Supports the distribution of plans and specifications to vendors subcontractors. Work independently when performing conceptual schematic and design budgets. Review plans for accuracy. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s Degree in construction -related field of study preferred. A minimum of 7 years experience in commercial retail construction is required. Prior experience estimating projects of 100M required. Experience in Multifamily healthcare and higher education project is preferred. Experience in either purchasing procurement or logistics required.
