The PeopleReady Branch located at West Palm Beach FL 33403 is currently hiring a Maintenance Mechanic Job DescriptionSeeking a well-rounded Maintenance Mechanic capable of maintaining equipment and the building. Skilled in trouble-shooting and repairing both electric and propane fork trucks hydraulic and pneumatic controls and general machinery repairs including good preventative maintenance practices and excellent record keeping. Some electrical experience is a plus. Must perform work in a safe manner perform lock-out-tag-out procedures and maintain area in a clean and orderly manner. Order and maintain inventory of parts in a cost effective manner. Must be self-motivated have ability to work with little supervision and be able to work alone and with others. Must demonstrate a positive can-do attitude. May work overtime as required. Responsibilities Include Performing routine preventive maintenance to make sure machines run smoothly Inspecting machinery to diagnose machine malfunctions Cleaning and repairing as needed Displaying your analytical skills and a problem solver s mentality Qualifications Minimum three years high speed production experience preferred Familiarity with production machinery Able to read blueprints Possess strong computer and troubleshooting skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time Able to stoop bend and crouch and to lift up to 50 pounds With a network of over 600 branches across all 50 states Canada and Puerto Rico we are experts at matching workers to the jobs in-demand delivering exactly the workforce needed with the right skills.
