We are currently hiring for multiple positions to help with day to day concrete production. These positions are long term temp to hire. Note Pay Rate for this Job is 16 HourRESPONSIBILITIESMaintain thorough knowledge of precast concrete processes (structures redi-rock and pole bases) and equipment Pour concrete into prepared forms Assist with removing cured product from molds Breakdown lined and unlined units Clean and oil all forms Maintain forms properly Ensure that all machinery is operational Follow detailed assembly instructions processes and procedures Perform daily cleaning of equipment and surrounding areas Keep scrap levels to a minimum Observes safe work methods and makes appropriate use of related safety equipment as required Operates specialized variety of light medium and heavy equipment related to the precast concrete within the functional area of assignment Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly condition including securing equipment at the close of the workday Be able to work constructively with little supervision Must be able to use a moderate amount of judgement required to perform assigned task Must have basic reading writing and math skills Able to follow written and verbal instructions that can be very detailed in nature Dependable and reliable Establish maintain and foster positive and harmonious working relationships with those contacted in the course of work Ability to focus on detail and accuracy of work Flexible adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Performs all other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEThe physical demands described here are representative of those an individual must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Manufacturing environment with noise dust and hazards associated with manufacturing equipment and tools Strong sensory skills such as good eyesight good hearing and dexterity Operation hours are 7 00 am to 3 30 pm. Overtime before and after normal hours of operation as needed.
