Whether you are looking for work or you are seeking workers for your business People Ready is the North American leader in the industrial and on-demand staffing space.The People Ready Located Syracuse NY USA is currently hiring Customer Service RepresentativeJob Description This position is responsible for processing all incoming customer orders coordinating the scheduling with appropriate co-workers and the scheduling of outbound trucks to meet the shipping needs of the customer.Duties & task can Include Receive and enter Sales Orders into SAP from a variety of customers including international customers Respond to sales orders immediately and communicate with Sale personnel in both the U.S. and international groups Generate Customer Order Acknowledgments and follow-up support with customers Prepares documentation maintains records in SAP and help coordinate logistics for product shipments making sue all required paperwork is appropriately filed and organized. Provide timely feedback to appropriate personnel managers in regard to issues involving customer satisfaction. Communicates status of Shipping Receiving activities to appropriate personnel Review open customer orders create pick worksheets on an as needed basis to efficiently meet the customer shipping schedule and satisfy the requested ship dates Generate Weekly Customer Order Quantity Reports On-Time Customer Shipment Quantity Reports Confirm Pricing from Purchase Orders Creating Bill of Lading for Domestic shipments Monitor the timeliness of all outbound delivery arrivals & departures including monitor all potential shipment shortages to avoid missing confirmed ship dates and broadcast any known issues to appropriate personnel. Coordinate Conduct a monthly inventory of on hand Finished Goods with Warehouse Supervisor May be required to stay late or come in on a weekend if there is a critical order Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications This person must be effective and efficient with processing all customer requests with minimal supervision and within the company guidelines. Must have excellent communication skills in order to provide complete information to both internal groups and customers as required.
