Inspector Welds Steel - Cincinnati Ohio - JOB 21-00040Hourly Rate 32.00 - 37.00 HR Permanent Position with Benefits Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply. Cincinnati Consulting Company is seeking an Inspector. The Inspector will complete structural Steel and Welding Inspections on various projects and check welding specifications per job. Ensure the correct equipment and materials are being used for a weld and inspect completed welds. Inspect and test structural steel during erection on general commercial building sites as well as plant inspections. Performing steel or concrete plant quality control observations and steel and high strength bolt inspections. Perform observations inspections and tests of building construction projects and document findings in accordance with accepted engineering practice.REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma of GED required 3-5 years of direct welding-steel inspection experience. Must have Construction inspection experience Certified Welding Inspector is required Ability to work on a team and work cross functionally with members. Knowledge of steel welding and construction inspection. Strong communication skills for communicating with contractors technicians and project managers.
