The People Ready Decatur AL is currently hiring a Blender TechnicianWe are seeking a Blender Technician to join our team You will be responsible for efficient blending through proper quality control measures. Pay Rate for this Job is 10.70 Hour - 11.89 HourResponsibilities Assist the material handler in staging the materials on the mezzanine. Load the blender using proper procedures. Assist the blender operator with the preparation of the containers to be filled. Filling sealing and removal of the completed containers. Notify the blend operator if the poor quality is noted. Maintain a clean work area and use proper sanitizing methods. Follow all safety procedures including personal protective equipment. Work together as a team with the blender operator and material handler. Responsible for reporting food safety issues to management and or Quality Assurance. Other duties as assigned. QualificationsAt least one year on the job experience at the same job. Strong work history. Ability to work well with others. Stand for entire shift. Lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Walk bend kneel twist turn and use of hand and fingers on a regular basis. Ability to climb up and downstairs and ladders. Must be clean-shaven when working in blend room during blending that requires respiratory protection. Must be able to wear a respirator when working in the blending room when blending that requires a respirator.
