US Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking an energetic driven Technical Support Engineer to join and assist the global support team of our UK based client. Support to be provided to US Regional Managers and is based in Newburyport MA. This is a great opportunity to pave a successful career at the cutting edge of technology working for a company with a proven track record in the design development and distribution of the most innovative products in the marketplace.Responsible for providing technical product support project work and system debugging pre- and post-sales activities both in conjunction with sales managers and directly with distribution partners within the United States. Serve as the main point of contact between the customers and the internal development and test teams. Ensure that all support matters are recorded and managed within the CRM system and that appropriate staff are kept aware of the progress of cases from input through to resolution.Must be a detail-oriented team player driven to complete complicated tasks strong communication multi-tasking time management and customer service skills. Must have an understanding of IP Networks addressing protocols switches MS Office and operating systems (Linux is a plus). Desire and flexibility to excel and succeed in a technical support environment is required. AV experience hardware software test experience and or experience in a similar position is a plus. Approximately 20% domestic travel required.Associates degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience is required.Competitive salary and benefits package. Local candidates only.
