Responsibilities Include Start the machine at beginning of the shift and properly shut it down at the end of the shift if not immediately turning it over to the next shift. Organize line crew in an efficient manner to complete the following tasks Making boxes Loading cartons Manning the check weigh station and Inspection of product Keeping material points online stocked (glue pots carton magazines tape machine etc.) Boxing into shippers and Ensure quality product leaves the line. Meet or exceed daily production requirements. Maintain a clean work area and use proper sanitation methods. Maintain NPC quality standards. Maintain proper complete and legible records. Ensure that safety policies are adhered to. Monitor and adjust equipment as necessary to accomplish both production and quality goals. Qualifications At least two years experience operating machinery in an industrial environment or promotion from within NPC. Good communication and leadership skills. Mechanical aptitude. Self-motivated. Strong work history. Stand for an entire shift. Lift to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds as required. Walk bend kneel and use of hands and fingers on a regular basis.
