High Tech Genesis is looking for Lead Hardware Engineer with ideas and a real passion for hardware designs delivered to maximize reuse efficiency and simplicity. Required Skills and Experience Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Master degree in Electrical Electronic Engineering is an asset Minimum 10 years experience with any type of DSP ARM processors NXP IMX8 processors DDR memory high speed digital interfaces and ASICs Minimum of 5 full end to end product design experience Expertise with laboratory instruments and equipment Familiarity with CAD tools Ability to generate specifications and perform system design and power budget analysis Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout (green board printed circuit board. layout all the traces) preferably with Altium Designer Ability to perform bench-level analog power bring-up and troubleshooting using analog and digital test equipment Proven experience in boot-loader and board bring up skills such as u-boot DRAM controller initialization system clock configuration GPIO & pinmux Development know-how on power management DVFS thermal management etc. Note 1 You MUST be legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e. possess Canadian Citizenship Permanent Residency or Valid Work Permit)Note 2 High Tech Genesis Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Note 3 Accommodations are available upon request for all aspects of the hiring process.Note 4 Please submit a MS Word version of your resume when applying for this position.
