High Tech Genesis is looking for Applications Engineer to join a growing and dynamic team. You will be providing application engineering support. Required Skills and Experience BSc or higher degree in CE EE CS or equivalent 5 years experience in the networking industry Very good understanding of the L2 L3 switching and routing protocols Knowledge in data path and packet forwarding architecture (Broadcom or other) Hands-on experience with the Strata DNX series of Broadcom switches Skilled in troubleshooting applications based on Broadcom or similar SDK Desired Skills Experience as Application Engineer or Technical Support for Broadcom switches or similar devices Hands-on expertise with the Strata XGS series of Broadcom switches Capable of working with any Network processor Knowledge about control plane protocols and data structures Understanding with C programming or Linux environment Highly flexible and adaptable personality Strong communication skills both written and spoken English Organized individual capable of working independently Comfortable interacting with customers and discuss their requirements and needs Able to participate and contribute to a dynamic team Note 1 You MUST be legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e. possess Canadian Citizenship Permanent Residency or Valid Work Permit)Note 2 High Tech Genesis Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Note 3 Accommodations are available upon request for all aspects of the hiring process.Note 4 Please submit a MS Word version of your resume when applying for this position.
