Responsibilities Fabricate trusses based on design drawings. Quality is a priority assemble trusses with joints fitting tightly and plates located as specified. Notify supervisor of any inconsistencies in truss designs lumber measurements plates etc. Qualifications. Adjust plate sizing as necessary for wane knots or other lumber defects. Always maintain a system of quality control with high regard to safety. Use all staged lumber before re-cutting from new inventory and cut only if absolutely necessary to minimize waste. Always wear safety equipment as required by company safety guidelines. Preform other related tasks as assigned by supervisor.
