The PeopleReady located at Plainfield Connecticut 6374 is currently hiring a Safety Attendant Job Description Peopleready is hiring Safety Attendants Safety Attendant (Holewatch Firewatch Bottlewatch). Are assigned to jobs inside oil & gas refineries or petrochemical plants works outside of confined spaces and is responsible for monitoring and protecting the workers entering the confined space and alerting rescue if necessary Note - Pay Rate for this Job is 15 Hour Responsibilities include but not limited to Will monitor any confine space entry type work in the area. Working conditions will vary with service work being performed indoors and also out in the field. Possibility of working in hazardous environments when working within a plant which would require safety precautions and appropriate equipment. Ability to work in climatic weather (cold heat) during day or night operations. Requirements Occasional lifting of items weighting a maximum of 50 pounds. Ability to ascend and descend ladders (step extension and cage) up to 24 high. Able to walk at a normal pace for up to 15 continuous minutes. Able to work from a standing position for 12 hours. Bending climbing and stooping as needed for access of equipment Must be able to pass a background check. Must have reliable transportation Must have OSHA 10 Certification
