This position involves covering aluminum and wood parts with carpet and vinyl by glue or stapling.The warehouse has NO ac. Very hot in the summertime. They do have fans. Job Responsibilities Laying material out cutting reading the patterns. Lifting is involved. Trim excess carpet from metal and wood pieces using scissor and or utility knife Staple carpet to wooden pieces using pneumatic stapler Preassembles hardware using air rivet gun bucker or air drill Operate wood router and carpet cutter Installing frames (both by screwing and adhesive) Sanding wood and plastic and sealing seats Maintain a clean work area Picking aluminum parts and Storing parts in their proper locations Qualifications & Experience Both jobs must have general aptitude skills and both are fast pace. If they are slow they will not make it. Must be used to working in a fast past environment. High School Diploma or GED Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations. Basic math skills Ability to follow written and oral communication. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
