Glass Production Technicians - Fabrication Glass Cutting Assemblers Painters - Twinsburg OH - JOB 21-00377 Pay Range 16.00 - 17.00 HR - Contract to Possible Direct HirePay Rates 1st shift - 5 00 am to 3 30 pm 3 Openings 2nd shift - 2 00 pm to 12 30 pm 2 Openings 3rd shift - 7 30 pm to 6 00 am 3 Openings90 Calendar Days - Contract to Direct Hire Positions with Benefits Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply. A local manufacturer and installer of custom doors and windows is seeking to hire Glass Production Technicians for all three shifts. Benefits This position is a 40 hr. week position with potential for overtime weekdays weekends. This company offers a strong benefit package that includes paid vacation personal time health care options including an HSA option with a company match and a 401k option with a company matchREQUIREMENTSHigh School Graduate or GED is preferred Candidates should be intermediate to advance level of mechanical aptitude. Ability in reading & following written instructions. Able to read measuring devices. Have basic computer skills Problem solver Troubleshooter and Team Player. Have an eye for detail. Making of a quality product in a safe and timely fashion. Working both independently and as a team player. Working the hours needed to complete tasks. Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively Willingness to cross train into all areas of the plant. Must be able to work overtime when needed. Machine setup experience is a big plus. RESPONSIBILITIESGlass handling from delivery to production area. Slotting glass per customer specifications. Measure dimensions of products for accuracy. Preparing glass for the furnace furnace control seaming and using laser logo. Adjust clean and or repair products or processing equipment to correct defects found during inspections of work area. Observe & monitor production operations and equipment to ensure efficient flow. Discus inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend necessary corrective actions. Record inspection and test data weights temperatures quantities etc. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
