The primary responsibilities for this position will be focused on routine operational tasks and supervising others in their operational assignments. Generally a promotional opportunity will require relocation to another property. Duties and responsibilities Operations Develops a positive working relationship with all Property team members. As well as curating a culture focused on sincere customer service. Responsible for employee engagement of the front desk operations team utilizing the tools provided and through coaching training rewards and development. The individual must understand the sales effort within the market and drive both Occupancy and ADR The individual must train and motivate a staff to drive revenue revenue and more revenue Assist the General Manager to maintain compliance with Preventative Maintenance and Deep Cleaning Programs through the daily and or weekly inspection of rooms with the help of Housekeeping Manager and Property Engineer. Be familiar with S.O.P. s in all Operations departments. Complete required corporate training modules and become certified to train those as required. The individual must have a keen sense of detail and organization. All paperwork must be turned in a timely manner with precision and exactness. Perform duties as assigned. Accounting Assist General Manager in development of the department s annual budget and hotel goals. Monitor performance against plan. Assist to control costs at the same time protecting the assets of the hotel. HR Participates with Interviews candidate selections training supervision firing counseling and coaching. Maintain a professional working relationship and promote open lines of communication with managers employees and other departments. Ensure that all employees receive fair and equitable treatment according to UHM Hospitality SOPS.
