Production Supervisor - Planning Organization Problem Solving Skills - Twinsburg OH - JOB 21-00405Salary Range 45K - 60K Permanent Position with Benefits Shift Opening 3rd shift - 9 30 PM to 6 00 AMOnly U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply. A local manufacturer and installer of custom doors and windows is seeking to hire a Production Supervisor. This is a 45-50 hour week salaried position to coordinate the production of glass aluminum and vinyl in to windows and doors for the on-time delivery to a nationwide network of branches and dealers. Candidates should have a minimal of three years of experience managing and supervising of a production department. Strong supervisory leadership skills in directing others with strong oral and written communication. Strong planning organization problem solving skills and computer proficiency. Have basic computer skills MS Office Word Excel Outlook experienced. Prefer candidates that have experience with Excel spreadsheets. Supervisor must be on their feet at least 50% of the time monitoring the activities of their direct reports and assisting them as needed. Supervisor must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed in the loading and unloading of trucks. RESPONSIBILITIESManage all activities cutting and fabrication of materials restocking of materials. Maintain the on-time production schedule to the quality standards. Train and develop the production staff to maintain efficiency and quality standards. Be responsible for supervising 10 to 20 hourly employees. Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all manufacturing employees. Operate tow motor as needed as part of material stocking. Assist the Purchasing department to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained. Record inspection and test data weights temperatures quantities etc. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
