The PeopleReady located at Cannon Falls Minnesota 55009 is currently hiring a Warehouse Packer Job Description We are looking for a hard-working Warehouse Packer with attention to detail. In this job you will pick and pack items from our warehouse to fill orders. This involves building the boxes or pallets for shipment and placing packaged orders in the correct area for distribution. While you are picking items it is essential to visually check them for damage before packing them for shipment. Applicants must have basic reading skills and be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug test and background check. Note - Pay Rate for this Job is 17 Hour - 18.50 Hour Shift Timing All shifts available Responsibilities Examine and inspect containers materials or products to ensure that product quality and packing specifications are met. Measure weigh and count products and materials Record product packaging and order information on specified forms and records Seal containers or materials using glues fasteners nails and hand tools Assemble line and pad cartons crates and containers using hand tools Observing receiving and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources Using hands and arms in handling installing positioning and moving materials and manipulating things Identifying information by categorizing estimating recognizing differences or similarities and detecting changes in circumstances or events. Qualifications Candidates for this position should possess the following Knowledge of raw materials production processes quality control costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
