We are seeking Audit Staff and an Audit Manager for our progressive growing public accounting firm client with a focus on non-profit and municipal audits located north of Portland Maine.Responsible for every aspect of the audit engagement including audit planning risk assessment and audit procedures and evaluation of evidence. Also assist clients in preparation of their financial statements note disclosures and any required additional schedules.Audit Staff requires a minimum of two years of public accounting experience including performing financial statement preparation and audits. The ability to multi-task and work on multiple complex projects simultaneously is also required.Audit Manager is a hands-on role and requires a minimum of five years of public accounting experience including e three or more years experience performing financial statement audits with experience managing audits from start to finish.Both roles must have an understanding of financial reporting standards experience working directly with clients Excel QuickBooks and ProSystem fx Trial Balance and Engagement software skills the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and experience with governmental accounting auditing and software is a plus.Bachelor s degree in Accounting Business Finance or related discipline is required.
