Live-in Caregiver in private home (Derwood Rockville Maryland) This is a full time live in position to care for a loved one in a private apartment attached to but seperate from main house. Our contract will be for 5 days per week 24 hour care on-call with 2 weeks vacation and some holidays. We are flexible with time off as long as we can secure coverage. Our father is 85 functional and can do many things for himself. Uses a walker and may need help with balance on occasion.Job Duties Assist with daily living driving to appointments meals housekeeping laundry supervise him walking his small dog and other duties as assigned. Family members will be supportive calling every day and visiting frequently. Some experience is necessary. Must be able to learn how to use a baby monitor downstairs cameras etc. Using a computer is not required. We require a background criminal check drug screening and COVID-19 testing.This is a live-in position only. This requires the caregiver to reside in the home in a large private master bedroom upstairs (client lives downstairs). Room and board is provided in addition to the 200 per month allowance.
