The ChallengeWe are looking for a team player to serve as Airport Maintenance Technician on our Global TransPark team. In this role you willMaintain and care for airport building facilities and HVAX systems. Perform custodial duties. Maintain and repair building and facilities doing routine servicing and repairs of structures (doors windows etc.) HVAC and electrical systems. Do Housekeeping custodial duties of NC Global Transpark buildings. Respond to Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) emergency calls as required under FAA Part 139. Respond to Transportation Security Administration (TSA) security calls as required. What You BringSkills to maintain and repair a variety of HVAC systems. Skills to use necessary equipment insecticides or chemicals. Ability to lift objects and perform heavy duty grounds work. Agility to climb lighting fixtures and towers. Ability to lift and move equipment maintain lights shrubbery grassed area streets and sidewalks. Good communications skills and ability to work successfully as part of a team. Capable of passing Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 139 requirements (related to ARFF first responder) and TSA certification. Strong work ethic punctual dependable and cooperative. Ability to work on a rotating basis with other maintenance technicians to cover all ground facilities. NotesYou must pass a 5-year criminal background check and drug screening test. We may require current certification by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a Type I II III or Universal technician as required by Title 40 Code of Federal Regulations Part 82 Subpart F.
