The PeopleReady located at Pompano Beach Florida 33060 is currently hiring a Maintenance Mechanic Job Description Under limited is assigned to assist and conduct the plant equipment repairs and building repairs and upkeep as required for the processing of laundry within the plant. This position will assist the mechanics in the performance of scheduled maintenance and inspection of machinery as well as machine and building repair assistance as needed and directed. Note - Pay Rate for this Job is 15 Hour Shift Timing - 1st Shift (Day) Responsibilities Include List the typical duties and responsibilities of the job in order of importance. Able to keep equipment clean. Able to conduct building repair without supervision. Able to complete PM s with no or minor supervision. Keep maintenance area clean. Keep inventory up to date. Learn to open close. Learn to perform minor troubleshooting. Learn equipment operation. Will assist other mechanics in other tasks.. Paint piping equipment etc. Any other task asked by the Chief Engineer. Qualifications Summarize the typical qualifications in terms of education years of related experience and other additional technical professional trade competencies of this job. Two years of experience and or training in industrial commercial laundry equipment repair and maintenance shop or any combination of education training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Education High school diploma or equivalent Years of Related Experience Preferably (2) two years of experience and or training in industrial commercial laundry equipment repair and maintenance shop or any combination of education training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
